Client News: Intel Easy Migration Makes Headlines

Intel data migration app screens.

Over the holidays, Intel – one of our long-time clients – made headlines with our latest project. Intel Easy Migration, a suite of apps we conceived of and created with Intel and Acer to help differentiate Intel-powered Chromebooks – went live on Google Play and the App Store. You can read about our work with Intel in this detailed case study.

In addition to our Innovation Workshop, we designed and developed the apps (native iOS, Android, Windows desktop and Chrome plugin). We then provided launch strategy recommendations, ASO, multiple online and retail marketing materials, and currently ongoing product support for Intel Easy Migration.

Since its release, Intel Easy Migration has been enjoying great reviews and extensive coverage in many well-known media outlets. It’s already generated more than 75 articles and counting. You can read more in LifeHacker, Tech Times, PC World, Android Community, Value Walk, Techno Buffalo, Hot Hardware, OMG Chrome, Slash Gear, Seeking Alpha and Zdnet.

Users and reviewers are enjoying many of the consumer friendly, useful features we envisioned for Intel Easy Migration:

  • migrate all contacts (from the device, Hotmail, or Yahoo) to Google Contacts
  • select photos and videos to add to Google+ Photos (saving room on the Google drive)
  • pause and resume the migration process without issue
  • real-time visibility into Google Drive space consumption.
Transfer files among Android phones, iPhones and Chromebooks.

What did the reviewers have to say? According to UberGizmo, “…picking and retrieving your items from your smartphone or PC to the Google Cloud has never been made any easier.” And Macro Insider says, “Intel Easy Migration app can be your best buddy if you’re switching to Chromebooks.”

We’re proud of Intel Easy Migration’s success, so check it out. And if you need an app, we’re ready to help.
