Sourcebits, a global design company delivering strategic mobile innovation and application development, today announced it has been included in the list of “Cool Vendors” featured in the Cool Vendors in Services, 2014 report by Gartner, Inc.

The list identifies five companies that “help clients address the key challenges they face today in the digital economy.” Sourcebits is the only specialized mobile strategy, design and development services provider recognized in the report.

“The five service providers in this report help clients address the key challenges they face today in the digital economy. They offer CIOs, chief digital officers, business specialists/buyers and sourcing leaders innovative services and new approaches to enable business benefits.”

Sourcebits, with more than 200 employees worldwide, has developed 550+ products, including more than 30 mobile apps that reached the top 10 of their genres. “Evaluate “cool” service providers in IT services (and others like them) based on their unique expertise, technology focus, or delivery strategy to bring business value, or through their innovative approaches to solve specific issues. These providers, while smaller, have proven abilities to fulfill needs or offer world-class expertise.”

Sourcebits’ feels its commitment to client success and deep understanding of the mobile space strongly differentiates the company from other mobile development providers. The company’s Innovation Strategy Workshops, conducted with key stakeholders and experienced Sourcebits consultants, help clients refine their products by going through a process of examination, ideation and clarification before design and development begins.

“We believe our inclusion in the Cool Vendor report by Gartner is an exciting recognition of our success in enabling customers to fully realize the power of mobile applications to meet their business objectives,” said Rohit Singal, Founder and CEO of Sourcebits. “We deliver innovative mobile strategies and beautiful products to hundreds of clients around the world, from large enterprises to startups and entrepreneurs. By putting design first and working on projects we passionately want to create, the Sourcebits team is focused on helping our clients win.”

According to the report, “Gartner sees this mobility space as a very high growth market; while global IT spending on consulting and implementation services will grow a moderate 3.9% from 2012 through 2017, spending for mobility-related projects is projected to grow 25% in the same time period.”
